FAQs

UPI Collections, answered.

What's the difference between Dynamic and Static QR?

A Dynamic QR has the amount and order ID locked in and expires after a set time — ideal for checkout. A Static QR is reusable forever and the customer enters their own amount — ideal for storefronts and donations.

Which UPI apps are supported?

Every UPI-enabled app in India — PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, WhatsApp Pay and more. The QR follows the standard UPI intent format, so it isn't tied to any single app.

How do I know when a QR has been paid?

We send a webhook to your notify_url within about 2 seconds of a successful payment, with the QR ID and (for Dynamic QRs) your order reference already matched.

What happens if a Dynamic QR expires unpaid?

The QR simply stops accepting payments after the expiry window — no charge occurs. You can generate a fresh QR for the same order at any time.

Can I generate QR codes in bulk?

Yes — via repeated API calls or a CSV upload through the dashboard, useful for invoicing many customers or multi-location stores at once.

Is sandbox testing available?

Yes — our sandbox simulates both QR types and payment confirmation, so you can test your full collection flow before going live.
